Why did you join Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½Ò•îl?

I joined Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½Ò•îl to become connected to medicine on a personal level. Everyone gets into the medical profession for a vast number of reasons, but the central theme is knowing and helping your fellow man. Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½Ò•îl brings people together.

Why did you become an Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½Ò•îl leader?

I became an Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½Ò•îl Leader because I have seen the the positive impact that AMSA has on the community that I wanted to be able to help continue its growth.

What is your Favorite Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½Ò•îl Moment?

The recent national convention was a big highlight for the year so far. Hundreds of people coming together with so much energy and passion for medicine that it was palpable. I was able to connect with like-minded individuals and share ideas that I will be able to implement in the coming year.

What advice would you give to current & future Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½Ò•îl leaders?

To listen more than you speak. One of the most important tools you have as a leader and future physician is the ability to listen.

Do you know of an Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½Ò•îl Leader who deserves to be recognized? Do you want to share your leadership story with other Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½Ò•îl members? ! One outstanding leader will be featured each month in Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½Ò•îl’s Leader Spotlight on the website.
