Jasrina Kaushal is the Course Director for Medical Advocacy in the Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½Ò•îl Scholar Program. She is dedicated to advancing medical care in underserved communities and has written on systemic racial disparities in healthcare. Jasrina has been a keynote speaker at the Kidney Disease Impact Conference in both 2023 and 2024, where she has contributed significantly to raising patient awareness about disease management. Having completed the Ñî¹óåú´«Ã½Ò•îl Health Justice Scholars Program in December 2023, she continues to seek mentorship to further her impact as a medical professional.
She is currently completing her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of the Americas and has a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Science with a minor in Psychology from Carleton University. With a broad range of experiences in patient care, Jasrina has worked across various demographics and conditions in multiple countries.Â
